UN Secretary General António Guterres yesterday designated Dereje Wordofa of Ethiopia as Deputy Executive Director (Program) of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).He will succeed Natalia Kanem of Panama who was as of late named as Executive Director of UNFPA.He had more than 28 years of experience in giving key administration, support, program improvement and overseeing tasks in intricate and testing situations, to a great extent concentrated on Africa.
