Golobal coalition for lake tana restoration is a group organized to create a healthy and ecologically well-conserved Lake Tana and its environment. The group purchased the second modern water hyacinth harvester with the cost of 92, 350 USD. Earlier the group purchased the first machine with fund raised from Atlanta, USA with around 60 thousand USD. But, the second one has an additional machine( Conveyor) which take the harvested water hyacinth to the side of the shore of the lake. The coalition also hopes to purchase additional machine in the near future.
