A Virginia man who shared a $200,000 lottery prize with his family had a lot of training – he did likewise 14 years sooner.
Benjamin T. Owens of Mineral purchased a Virginia Lottery Super Cash Scratcher ticket from Spencer’s Express in Chesterfield and scratched off a $200,000 prize.
The big stake accompanied a side of history repeating itself – he previously won $200,000 from a scratch-off ticket in 2004.
“He stated, ‘I did it once more!'” Owens’ little girl, Charise Owens-Rogers, reviewed of her telephone call with her dad directly after he scratched off the triumphant ticket. “My father is getting quite great at this!”
Owens chose to utilize his cash a similar way he did in 2004 – part it with Owens-Rogers; his better half, Linda Owens; and his child, Benjamin L. Owens.
The family went by lottery home office together to assert the prize cash.
