Featured Heritage Dance Groups include:
- Ethio-American Eskista Dance Group
- Royal Scottish Country Dancers
- Fairfax Chinese Dance Troupe
- Boyle School of Irish Dance
“Dance Around the World” is a community event which is organized by Office of the Arts, a division of the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities. According to the organizer,Cheryl Anne Colton, Regional Program Director, A “meet and greet” begins at 6 p.m. and light refreshments will be served.
If you attend the festivities, wearing a dancing 
shoe is recommended. Children under 5 years old are free and all children must be accompanied by one adult.
